Put the foot in the other shoe; would you accept the first offer without negotiation? Use these tips to be prepared to counter offer using the steps mentioned above.

  • Respond Quickly to Counters: Ideally within 24 Hours
  • Meet in the Middle When Feasible
  • Increase the EMD to Attract the Seller
  • Offer to Let the Seller Stay in the Home Longer if Needed
  • Consider Contingencies: Let Go if it is within Reason
