3. Select the right color palette
With one consistent color palette, you can combine several different styles into the interior of any room. Find tones that you and your partner can agree on, and stick with them throughout the decorating process. If you’re dying to use a statement color such as hot pink or bright green, keep it refined to spaces such as your office, the bathroom, or other smaller areas within your home.
